Leadership Team
Heather Richer has held several positions in marketing and change leadership. Most recently she was CMO of RedAwning.com, Inc, an early stage short-term rental technology platform. Prior to that, Richer was Vice President of Revenue Management and Distribution at Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants, part of the IHG family of brands.
Heather’s experience includes oversight of both company tech and team integrations, new product launches, sales enablement infrastructure, and overall commercial functions like digital, distribution, communications, B2B and B2C. Her background also consists of strong experience in revenue management, analytics, and customer services, and she is passionate about measurement and goal-setting. In addition to serving on the HSMAI Revenue Management Advisory Board, she also holds her Master's Degree in Tourism Administration from the George Washington University School of Business.
She loves time with family, taking hikes, traveling, and drinking great wine. Richer resides in Marin County, CA, where this is all possible. She enjoys clever humor, and being around smart, caring and genuine people.

Dwight Yang is an experienced revenue management professional. He has built revenue management tools, business process, and completed system and data integrations for hotels, resorts, casinos, and restaurants. Dwight understands the fundamentals of short-term and vacation rentals from the distribution, pricing, analytical and technology ecosystem perspective.
Dwight holds his bachelors degree in Engineering Management Systems from Columbia University in New York, an MBA from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and to top it off, he has his Masters in Revenue Management (MMH) from Cornell University. Not only does he have a strong academic background, but he has “street cred” too. His professional experience spans across the US and Asia and includes Marriott, MGM, Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants, and most recently he was the Washington, DC, Revenue Management Director for Viceroy Hotel Group. Dwight understands the balance of optimizing RevPAR, owner relations, and market intelligence to be truly successful.
He and his wife and young daughter, reside in Washington, DC, and love family trips and staying in vacation rentals in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Monica Schmidt brings over 10 years of revenue strategy experience, primarily with boutique & independent properties in urban markets. In addition to her core expertise in revenue management, Monica has strong experience in digital marketing, distribution, and project management. She is passionate about the intersection of revenue management and digital marketing, and she enjoys finding synergies between the two disciplines that lead to increased competitive advantage and revenue growth. Prior to consulting, Monica worked for companies such as Eaton Workshop, part of Langham Hospitality Group, and Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. Monica holds a Master's Degree in Tourism Administration from The George Washington University School of Business, which has helped shape her broad knowledge of the forces at play within the tourism and hospitality industries.
In her free time, Monica enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, baking, and exploring the city of Baltimore with her two greyhounds.
James Cameron also brings over 10 years of revenue strategy experience, primarily with boutique brands and different types of lodging accommodations in urban markets. In addition to his core expertise in revenue management, James has strong experience in new location launch set-up, and distribution and channel management connectivity.
He has worked with sophisticated investors/owners and understands the full business model from topline through to cost of acquisition and commercial strategy.
James is a graduate of George Mason University and lives in the DC/metro area. He brings a calming effect and can easily relate to different personalities and situations. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his two young kids, family, and friends.
